WORKSHOPS

Aunty Collective’s goal is to offer a variety of programs that center in particular youth, 2-spirit LGBTQIA+ Indigequeer peoples, and women.

We offer art drop-in-time where young ones and collective members can utilize supplies and aunties to support their creative expressions. As well, we offer youth and 2SLGBTQIA+ and allies drum groups drop-in days. As part of our work, we host a youth art and culture program. The focus will be on youth taking part in cultural workshops and showing their creations in our gallery setting. They have access to monthly cultural-making workshops, drum group/art drop-ins, AC elders, aunties, and guest artists.

As we establish ourselves we will have further programming available to our communities. We are looking forward to having ‘on the land’ courses and workshops in the months to come as well. For more questions and ways to support financially support or volunteer please contact us!
