Rooted in the experiences of being "On The Edge" of many worlds, Long and Babichuck bring street art into the gallery setting and personify the feelings many of us carry of being: on the edge of the art scene; on the edge of our nerves; on the edge of Turtle Island. Within their creations, and the space they hold, self-determined Indigenous spaces are recuperated from the fringes, allowing them to dance in a new light. On the Edge represents a particular vision of evolving and resurgent Indigenous brilliance in creative practice.
