Over the last year of creating New Worlds at Aunty Collective, knowledges revealed through gathering and "helping one another" allows us to create spaces where Indigiqueer peoples, allies, and young ones can thrive, create, and live wrapped up in an ethic of care. kʷənəŋitəl : ways of our ancestors holds space for collaborations between ourselves, our relatives, and our ancestors As we honour all the relations, hard work, knowledges, creations, losses, and love we have shared over our last year of being, we celebrate the resilience of our creative practices and the medicines they bring. The Lək̓ʷəŋən title of our show holds the respect and gratitude we have for these territories and peoples who support and hold us.
