"Bee pollen is a nutrient superfood made from natural pollens in our environment. The honey bees carry this pollen back to their hives where it forms large granules. Beekeepers collect these granules and dry them to preserve the nutritional content. Bee pollen provides a high source of protein, vitamins E, A, C, D, and several B vitamins, minerals like calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, and iron, Amino and fatty acids to naturally boost and support the body. Bee pollen has shown to have many healthy benefits including improving heart health, reducing inflammation, and helping to reduce allergic reactions. Bee pollen has an earthy, nutty flavour and can be enjoyed sprinkled over oatmeal, yogurt, or in smoothies. It can also be added to Honey or eaten by the spoonful." - Smoky Mountain Apiary

The Aunty Collective Indigenous Creative Practice Hub recognizes the sovereignty of the Lekwungen Peoples, land, waters, ancestors, and non-human relations and understands that only through meaningful, respectful, reciprocal relationships, is our work made possible. As diverse Indigenous peoples who carry our unique Indigenous laws with us while away from our own lands and waters, we make visible and honour Lekwungen laws, protocols, and authority as we create, share, and develop relationships within the Lekwungen and neighboring Coast Salish territories and peoples.
