The wall pocket was created under the mentorship of Gregory Scofield in an online group through Amelia Douglas Institute. The original is owned be Métis Nation Alberta for educational purposes. I was inspired by Métis ancestor floral shapes and patterns to create my own design.
- 20"x16"
- Completed in 2024
- Original wall pocket materials Meltone wool, seed beads (including antique ones), satin ribbon, fox braid, brain tanned moose hide, cotton and denim fabric, and nymo beading thread.
Please Note: It is important to keep a Giclée print away from direct sunlight or bright light. It is best to have the image behind UV Protective glass and/or to use UV protectant lighting, as well as being placed in indirect sunlight.

The Aunty Collective Indigenous Creative Practice Hub recognizes the sovereignty of the Lekwungen Peoples, land, waters, ancestors, and non-human relations and understands that only through meaningful, respectful, reciprocal relationships, is our work made possible. As diverse Indigenous peoples who carry our unique Indigenous laws with us while away from our own lands and waters, we make visible and honour Lekwungen laws, protocols, and authority as we create, share, and develop relationships within the Lekwungen and neighboring Coast Salish territories and peoples.
