Wabanaki Maple is 100% Indigenous female-owned and located on Neqotkuk (Tobique First Nation), New Brunswick. Wabanaki represents the 5 First Nations communities in the Eastern Woodlands; it also roughly translates to the "People of the Dawn."
The Wabanaki Confederacy communities include:
- Wolastoqiyik
- Mi'kmaq
- Penobscot
- Abenaki
- Passamaquoddy.
