Okiniwasnokwe (the artist's great-grandmother's name meaning Rose Woman) makes visible dream methodologies and ancestral knowledges that comes through various Indigenous Creative Practices. Through video, sculpture, textile and beadwork, and with the use of contemporary and traditional materials - the viewer is pulled into the ceremonies that occur when cultural pieces are birthed into the physical world.
