The purple pom-poms are infused with sage, tobacco, sweetgrass, cedar and lavender. The medicine was gifted to me, Laura Manson, by community, after the death of my brother, Julian Jones. Julian was shot and killed by the police in Tofino on February 27, 2021. I have more medicine than can be used in my lifetime. It is believed that if you have more than you need that you share what you have. So my daughter and I started infusing our resin pieces with said medicine. That way people can wear that blessing all the while remembering my late brother. These earrings are especially loved as they're purple. Purple was one of Julian's favorite colors.
