"Miskwaa means "red" in Nishnaabemwin. Red is one of the four colors of the medicine wheel, which is used in many Nishnaabe teachings. Because of its beauty and the personal and spiritual meaning it holds for me as an artist, I chose to incorporate it into the name of my business.''
